Julia is an acccomplished narrator, voice artist, singer/songwriter, NAACP-nominated L.A. theater director, voice coach and mentor. SAG/AFTRA/AEA. Ran the Malibu Playhouse, runs Malibu Vocal Studio, served as Malibu Arts Commissioner, created Malibu City Gallery, developed school vocal programs and renowned children’s theater. Founded an environmental nonprofit mixing music, theater, and kids. Traveled through vibrant corners of the world that shaped her sense of story, humor, and humanity. Finally landing in audiobooks (19 so far) she uses her years of acting experience happily recording steps from the Pacific, splitting her time between studio and garden, alongside her dog, cat, and surprisingly charismatic desert tortoise named Bactria.
