About Julia

Julia Holland is an accomplished audiobook narrator, professional singer, songwriter, actor, director, vocal coach, and voice artist. With a background in theater, a BA in music and over 20 years of experience running her vocal studio in Malibu, Julia brings a wealth of expertise and passion to every project. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA and has worked in TV, commercials, theater, and voiceover across various genres.

Julia's theater career spans countless productions in Los Angeles, where she has also directed—earning an NAACP nomination for Best Director of a Musical for The Wild Party at the Malibu Playhouse. Drawing on her extensive stage experience, Julia excels in bringing multi-dimensional characters and rich, immersive worlds to life through her narration. 

As a vocal coach and performance coach, Julia combines her technical understanding of vocal physiology with her versatile voice, allowing her to voice a wide range of characters and effectively juggle an ensemble cast. Whether performing in the booth or on stage, her rich, resonant voice captivates listeners and brings stories to life.
Julia’s passion for music is as diverse as her talent. With a background ranging from classical to jazz, cabaret, and country blues, she has become an in-demand performance coach. Her music is available on all major streaming platforms. She brings that same versatility to her audiobook narration, lending her voice to projects across genres.

Growing up in New Mexico, Julia developed a love for reading and storytelling from a young age. As a child, she could often be found reading under a cottonwood tree, lost in an adventure. Now Julia is an avid traveler, still loving adventure, salsa dancing, nature, exploring other cultures and is known for creating impressive meals with minimal ingredients. She currently resides in Malibu, CA with her dog, cat and desert tortoise.
